Macho Harris Injures Foot, Unlikely to Play vs. ECU
Bad news Hokie fans … Kyle Tucker’s blog is reporting that Victor “Macho” Harris will likely miss Saturday’s season-opener against ECU. Harris lost his shoe during a kick return in last Friday’s scrimmage and someone fell on his foot, spraining it.
Though he is a force on defense, I think the Hokies have the necessary tools to get the job done without out. It won’t be as easy, but I think they have the manpower to handle the Pirates’ offensive attack. What worries me is the kick returning duties. I’m not sure who else has been returning kicks, but I’d be interested to see if true freshman Ryan Williams will get some playing time on special teams in that capacity? We shall see…
