Thanks for coming through with highlights, as always!

I was wondering how you were going to pull a full-fledged highlight reel out of this one. Nicely done.

Hopefully Tyrod and the coaches have a little confidence after the ending of this one to try and go downfield a little more often. Granted Miami’s secondary is pretty speedy. Who knows. I’m already chewing my nails over next Saturday.

Ditto on chewing the nails next week against Miami Dave, which is unfortunate for my nails as they were bitten plenty beyond their quota last week. I can only hope our secondary is up to the task! Also, As much as it was great to see our Hokies pull out the victory, I have to wonder would it have been better to take the L if it meant we are closer to getting rid of Stinespring? I know the answer, I’m just putting that out there. Also, I agree with Bill Roth that this was one of the loudest screams I’ve ever heard at Lane Stadium. I can only think of one that was definitively louder…and that was Eric Green’s blocked kick and Brandon Manning’s return to put us within 2 against Miami in 2001. And that was without the South End Zone done! So great job all my Tech comrades from Dec. 1, 2001. I still haven’t forgiven Ernest Wilford for that drop yet…even though I’ve forgiven Noel for his 5 turnover performance. Weird, huh?

p.s. Does anyone know where I would send my résumé to apply for Offensive Coordinator?
