Last spring I decided to go to Lane to have a look around. Someone left a gate open so I just went inside. Towards the end, while I was creepin by the tunnel, some kickers came out to practice so I had to run away.
The 2nd to last picture is of Burruss during a memorial service (April 16th maybe? My memory does not serve me), and the last is Lane during a night game this past fall.
Hindsight being 20/20, we could have made up some great excuses for why we were there! For example:
“I’m from search and rescue… we’re looking for UVA football players, who apparently got lost looking for the endzone.”
What excuse would you give for being caught inside Lane Stadium when you shouldn’t be there?
