Why do you love Virginia Tech?

Virginia Tech alumni, family and friends are fiercely loyal to the university, but what fuels that sense of loyalty? What is it about Virginia Tech that you love so much? Is it the beautiful campus? The New River Valley? Professors? Rec sports? Tell us what makes Virginia Tech such a special place for you?

It’s hard to nail down just one thing that I love about Virginia Tech. But, I’d have to say it felt like home. And that’s why I moved back here. I got tired fo the rat race in the city and longed for a place that felt like home and where I was around friends. So, back to Blacksburg I came and it’s one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. It’s where I met my wife, also a Hokie, and am now raising one of the biggest Hokie fans ever!
