That should do it, Hokie fans! We posted the highlights from the Miami game this morning and that completes the season. You can now find highlights from every game of the 2008 season on our site. It was a rocky season by Tech standards, but 10 wins is still nothing to sneeze at – and we are not just one of three teams to win at least 10 games in five straight seasons – joining Texas and USC – that’s some pretty good company, folks! See you at the Maroon and White Spring Game on April 25, at 2 p.m.!

It was an ugly and heartbreaking loss (21-24) to a good and well-coached Kansas team. It reminded me of Virginia Tech’s 1995 win over Texas in the Sugar Bowl. The Hokies were an up-and-coming team that knocked off a perennial powerhouse in a big bowl game.

With apologies to all the Kansas fans, these are only the Hokies highlights. It was painful enough to watch the dropped TD, blocked FG and fake punt the first time, so I didn’t see any need to relive it.
