NFL salute: Tyrod Taylor of the World Champion Baltimore Ravens

My two all-time favorite Hokies are Bryan Randall and Tyrod Taylor.

Superbowl Champion

Is that you, Tyrod?

Though he didn’t play, Hokie Tyrod Taylor (2) is still a member of the 2013 Super Bowl champion Baltimore Ravens and will get a shiny ring. Here he is celebrating with teammates Arthur Jones (97), Dennis Pitta (88), and starting quarterback and Super Bowl MVP Joe Flacco. (Photo by Dilip Vishwanat/Getty Images)

I LOVE HIM

Tyrod Taylor got some playing time last night, albeit in garbage time, but it was still good to see T-mobile out there! He went 2-for-3 for 30 yards in the Ravens’ 44-13 beatdown of the Cincinnati Bengals.

Tyrod Taylor is the best player to ever wear No. 5 for the Hokies, but who’s the next best?

Quite possibly the greatest play in Tyrod Taylor’s storied career at Virginia Tech.

Kayla and I saw Tyrod last night in Blacksburg (at Sharkey’s)!! We were so happy! And he was super okay with it when I asked if he would take a picture with us! I’m sure in Blacksburg he’s used to people noticing him and wanting pictures. We all love us some Tyrod Taylor!

Good to see T-Mobile back in the Burg! Would love to see him win the Ravens’ starting QB job this season.

Never. Gets. Old.

With regards to Virginia Tech football, we’re thankful for Tyrod Taylor.
